Delaney is studying Community-Centered Design (CCD) with a concentration in Green Design and a Studio Art Minor. CCD is a Bachelor of Science major at the University of Vermont that is driven by the question "How can we design for a better tomorrow?".
Delaney will graduate in May 2025.
Delaney is studying for her LEED GA Exam in November of 2024. Obtaining a LEED credential will provide a greater understanding of the world's most widely used green building rating system and incorporate the LEED rating system in her design projects. The LEED certification provides a framework for healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings, which offer environmental, social, and governance benefits. (LEED.com)
Over the summer months of 2024, Delaney completed a Landscape Architecture Internship under Tom Hand at SiteForm Studio in Stowe, VT. Through this internship, she deepened her knowledge of the design process, collaborated with clients, created concept plans and schematic drafts, created full-color renderings of landscape plans in Adobe Photoshop and refined her AutoCAD skills. And gained valuable firsthand knowledge and experience about the work and process of a Landscape Architecture.
At the University of Vermont, Delaney has completed courses in computer design and modeling, include Graphical Communication (AutoCAD), Building Information Modeling (Revit), Drafting and Design in SketchUp I & II, and Digital Illustration (Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator).
