About Me

Born and raised in Montana, Laney has an appreciation for the natural environment and incorporates the relationship between the natural and built environments in her designs.  Outdoor recreation tops her lists of activities, with skiing, biking, hiking, and camping being her favorite.  In high school, she developed a beacon training park for winter backcountry recreationists in Big Sky, MT.  Laney's passion for sustainability and environmental protection lead her to pursue undergraduate study in the Green Mountains of Vermont.  In Vermont, she continued working as a ski instructor at Sugarbush Resort, enjoying a new mountain view.  Laney completed a summer internship in Stowe, VT working on residential and commercial design projects.  She is excited to continue her post graduate education, seeking a Master's Degrees in Architecture.
